Tasting notes: Jasmine - Honey - Peach
This is the first Ethiopian coffee we bought back in 2018, and we're thrilled to renew this offer year after year. It comes from the town of Aleta Wendo in southern Sidama. In line with Ethiopian customs, farmers deliver the coffee cherries to the washing station located in town. Therefore, we named this coffee after the city where it is transformed. Since these beans grows close to Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone, the cup profile is quite similar: it's powerful, floral and delicate. More specifically, you will find aromas of jasmine, honey and peach.
