JOSE YORLEY FLOREZ
Tasting notes : Dulce de Leche, Honeydew
José Yorley Floréz’ coffee is quite the unique lot. It is made of a single varietal that is locally grown in Antioquia, Colombia : caturra chiroso. It is likely a mutation of the caturra varietal that originated in the Urrao region of Antioquia. This varietal is liked for its growing potential at high altitude and cup quality. Both qualities liked very much in coffee! We taste notes of honeydew and dulce de leche, proof of the attention to detail of Jose.
Beyond its flavor, this coffee comes from the initiative of Coffee for Peace; a program for the betterment of farmers in post-conflict regions of Colombia.
