WANJA KERSA
WANJA KERSA
Tasting notes: Pear, Apricot, Honey
Atoma’s washing station is quite interesting since it only started operating 2 years ago ! It completed its first full season in 2022/2023 and was only producing natural coffees. This is then its first year offering washed coffee, and we’re lucky to be in the first roasting it.
Owned and operated by Mike Mamo, it benefits from the expertise and knowledge acquired by running the first washing station, Telila, since 2019. Mike also has the chance to be working with Fikru Demi, who oversees quality control and has been the head of quality for their exporting company for the past 20 years. Through vertical integration, they are able to keep an eye on the whole logistic chain of their beans, which is a real asset to offer a coffee of high quality.
This focus on quality control offers a clean cup with silky notes of pear, apricot and honey.
