Jeremias' story is an humbling one. When he started la Finca Don Rosa (named after his father), he and his brother had to start over because the family farm had been abandoned for 8 years.

Jeremias pushed to produce specialty coffee and his intuition paid off when they had an early succees from their farm selling at an auction sale. This led him to research more about specialty varieties and when he learned about the geisha, he travelled all over Honduras and had to sell his motorcycle to buy this seedlings. 

The investment was worth it since this year Jeremias was able to sell this whole microlot (4 bags !) to a specialty roaster as we are. When we think about all he's been through to bring this delicate coffee to us, we felt we had to give him a special highlight.
