Tasting notes: Tonka bean, Marmalade, Spiced Rum
Originally from Tegucigalpa, María Dolores discovered the world of coffee after moving to the Honduran mountains with her husband, Juan Adolfo Bautista. Inspired by a meeting of women producers organized by the COMSA cooperative, she founded her own farm, Finca Mini Granja Dilma, in 2016.
More than just a coffee farm, Mini Granja Dilma is a sustainable ecosystem where María also grows vegetables, raises animals, and produces her own organic fertilizer. Today, she stands as an inspiring leader for women producers in the region and a pioneer of specialty coffee in Honduras. Together with her family, she focuses on creating high-end microlots, experimenting with innovative fermentation methods and solar drying techniques to elevate every harvest.
This natural coffee has a strong personnality with notes of tonka and marmalade and a complex finish of spiced rum !
